Austin Vet Rescheduled to 2021
NEW YORK, NEW YORK (March 18, 2020) - In light of ongoing developments regarding COVID-19 and after extensive consultation with our partners as well as the veterinary community, we are rescheduling Austin Vet 2020 to new dates in 2021. The 2020 event was originally planned to be hosted at the Palmer Events Center however the 2021 event will move to the larger Austin Convention Center due to the popularity of the event.
We have decided to reschedule Austin Vet to 2021 out of an abundance of caution. This continues to be a developing situation, and we are doing our utmost to offer clear communication on an ongoing basis as matters evolve.
“We have been on top of the news and guidelines regarding COVID-19 since day one,” said Dan Read, Senior Vice President of CloserStill Media. “Our main concern, above all, is the health and safety of everyone involved with Austin Vet. We have made this decision to postpone based on public health recommendations and discussions with our partners. We know with full certainty that we will put on an extraordinary show once these concerns have been dealt with and our community feels safe again.”
