Dr. Wavreille graduated from the University of Liege (Belgium) in 2006, and worked as an emergency vet for a couple of years in a referral hospital before completing a rotating internship at the University of Liege (Belgium) and a surgical internship at Fitzpatrick Referrals (UK). He completed a research fellowship at Fitzpatrick referrals and obtained an academic degree in Microsurgery (France) in 2011. He came over to the USA in 2011 for a residency in Small Animal Surgery, which he completed with a Master of Science degree in the Department of Clinical Sciences from The Ohio State University in 2014. He completed a one-year fellowship in surgical oncology at the University of Florida (Gainesville) in 2015 before coming back to The Ohio State University as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Wavreille’s interests include invasive oncologic procedures, surgical neuroendocrine diseases, limb sparing procedures, and microsurgical techniques.
